Pedestal sink.
This design rests on a pedestal which makes it a good option for small bathrooms. It consists of one or two pieces and made from marble or porcelain, that’s why it adds a modern look to any bathroom. Although it doesn’t provide storage space like vanity sink does.

Vessel sink.
This design rests on top of the counter better than being inserted into the sink. Despite being round, lots of different shapes and designs are available. This type is available in stone, metal and other different materials. You should be careful while installing a vessel sink to select faucets that are capable of reaching over the sink.

Console sink.
This design is mounted on the counter top, although it’s connected to the wall in the back with two front legs supporting it. It’s characterized with having no cabinet beneath it which reduces the amount of storage. The open design helps make the bathroom larger and you can still use the space for storage if necessary. It goes well with bathrooms that are decorated with soft tones and light colors.

Wall mounted sink.
This design is mounted right to the wall that’s why it doesn’t take up a great amount of floor space. You can find this type of sink in public restrooms and in homes as well.
